​Lothian and Borders Police appealing for witnesses following a homophobic assault which happened around 2.30am on Sat 24th Sept in Broughton Street. A 20-year-old man leaving GHQ nightclub passed a group of four men and one woman who made offensive remarks before one of the men punched him to the side of his face, knocking him to the ground.

The 1st suspect is described as male, white, 18-19, 5' 7" with a small build and light-coloured hair with fringe swept to one side, wearing light-coloured trousers. The 2nd suspect is described as male, white, 18-19, 5' 11" with black spiky hair, wearing a black zip-up top and white trousers and spoke with a local accent. The 3rd and 4th suspects are only described as being white male. The 5th suspect is described as female, white, 18-19 with blonde shoulder-length hair and spoke with a local accent.
