LGV
LGV - Lymphogranuloma venereum - is a relatively new STi and is transmitted by a form of Chlamydia bacteria that attacks the lymph glands.
How's it passed on: Through unprotected
- Fucking & being fucked
- Sucking & being sucked
- Fisting & being fisted
- Sharing dirty sex toys (dildos)
Symptoms: Most men will experience major inflammation inside their arse if they have recently contracted LGV along with fever and feeling ill in later stages However, LGV has three stages:
Stage 1
Three days to three weeks you may notice:
- A painless sore in your mouth, cock or inside your arse
- Pain when pissing
- A white-ish discharge from the cock
Stage 2
10-30 days later (or longer) you may notice:
LGV in the arse:
- Painful inflammation in the arse
- Blood or pus coming out of your arse
- Shitting can be painful
- May develop abscesses/ulcers
LGV in the cock:
LGV in the mouth:
- Swollen glands in your neck or armpit
Stage 3
If untreated, LGV can cause serious damage to the arse and cock and could lead to surgery.
Treatment: It is diagnosed with a sample of your piss or taking a swab from the infected area. If positive, additional tests are done to look for LGV. A three-week course of antibiotics will cure LGV providing it is caught before stage 3.
