ROAM Outreach - Out of Hours Gay Testing Service for Men who have sex with Men in Edinburgh and the Lothian's
Monday Evening 5pm – 7.30pm Drop in only
For a confidential and anonymous testing service for
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Gonorrhoea
- Chlamydia
- Hepatitis A, B & C
We also offer Hepatitis A & B vaccinations and Chlamydia treatment
On your visit to the clinic you will be met by a member of the clinic staff who will give you an information form for you to complete which will then allow them to identify the reason for your visit and direct you to the appropriate person.
If you are in for a full sexual health screening you will be introduced to a member of the ROAM team who will go through the pre-test format and give you general information and advice with regards to the testing procedure.
If your visit is for Hep A or Hep B vaccinations then you will be introduced to the BBV nurse on duty who will go over the vaccination procedure and inform you of any relevant information regarding the course of vaccinations.
Before you leave you will be given an appointment card for the following week with your clinic ID number on it which will be used to identify you whenever you attend the clinic.
