Having a few drinks, or taking drugs can change your mood and make you feel more confident and relaxed. It can also make meeting and chatting with other guys easier.
Sex should be fun and pleasurable for all involved. However, consuming alcohol and drugs excessively can lower your inhibitions and affect your decision making. Whilst under the influence of drugs and alcohol, this may impact your ability to give consent and to decide on the type of sex you want to have. This can lead to a higher increase of risk taking behaviours.
It is recommended to not consume more than 14 units of alcohol, per week on a regular basis. The amount of units in one alcoholic drink can vary depending on the type, size and volume. Do you know how many units of alcohol you consume weekly?
