Sexual Health Screening
We recommend that men having sex with men should test every 3 months, particularly if you’re having condomless sex.
It’s good to be aware of both your sexual health and well being, as well as your sexual partners. If you are taking PrEP, we also recommend testing every 3 months as part of your routine monitoring.
As long as you don’t have symptoms, ROAM can do a sexual health screening for you.
If you’re experiencing symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection (e.g. penile/frontal/rectal discharge, genital or peri-anal ulcers, penile/testicular/rectal discomfort), please contact Chalmers Sexual Health Centre to discuss this with the nursing team.
If you have symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection, you can also utilise the drop-in GB+ clinic at Chalmers Centre every Wednesday from 4pm-6:30pm.
